Kara Luckey has been selected to serve as a member on the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Committee on Environmental Justice (ADD50). The Committee on Environmental justice seeks to expand understanding of the effects and implications of transportation policies, procedures, and actions on minority and low-income populations through academic and practitioner-oriented research. The committee also works to improve evaluation tools and methodologies to address these issues.

Kara is a long-term member of WTS, and currently chairs the Professional Development Committee. She led the successful WTS Colorado Mentoring Program from 2009-2012. |
